Rebuild People to Rebuild Ukraine. Everything you need to stay on-brand — the rules, the colours, the fonts, the templates, and the tools to make them — in one place. One LUkraine, four pillars.
Living companion to the printed Brand Guideline 2026 (v2.1). When in doubt, this page wins. draft v0.2

Windows: right-click → Run with PowerShell. macOS: double-click; if blocked, right-click → Open. It only installs open-source fonts and the LUkraine template. review before running
Or do it manually
What changed in 2026
The big moves
- Five activity areas → four pillars (Culture + Advocacy merge; Youth becomes a pillar).
- One unified system — one accent colour per pillar over a shared layout.
- Youth is purple (was arbitrarily green in the draft).
Housekeeping
- Colour values normalised (HEX is the source of truth; CMYK added for print).
- Registered seat corrected: 33, Bvd Prince Henri, L-1724.
- RCS F9931 and LUkraine.org made consistent everywhere.

Don’t recolour, rotate, stretch, outline or detach the tryzub. Keep clear space of one “U” height; min 100 px on screen. The vector SVG master comes from Vova’s official files (wired once available).
Colour — copy HEX or CMYK
Core palette
Pillar accents — one colour each
HEX is the source of truth; CMYK is for print (confirm with a soft-proof at the printer). The pillar colour is an accent (a bar, a tag, a heading rule) over the same shared layout. Advocacy sits inside Cultural Bridges as a light-red accent, never a fifth band. verify Youth values from the developed Youth file.

How to install (exact folder)
Windows
- Easiest: right-click the .ttf → Install (or Install for all users).
- Manual folder: copy the files into C:\Windows\Fonts (all users) or %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Fonts (just you).
- Restart Office to see them.
macOS
- Easiest: double-click the .ttf → Install Font.
- Manual folder: copy into ~/Library/Fonts (just you) or /Library/Fonts (all users).
- Restart Office to see them.
Prefer the one-click installer in New here to do all this automatically. Office fallback where these aren’t available: Arial. On the web they load from Google Fonts.
The four pillars
Same identity everywhere; the accent colour and a short label are the only things that change.
Emergency relief, defenders & rescuers, humanitarian aid, mental-health support.
Language courses, integration, training, the Ukrainian library.
Children and young people: activities, camps, youth participation.
Culture diplomacy and advocacy — telling Ukraine’s story and defending its cause.

Image use & safeguarding
We photograph and film people in vulnerable situations — including children and families affected by war. Dignity comes before impact. LUkraine follows the Dóchas Code of Conduct on Images and Messages (the sector standard promoted by the Cercle de Coopération) and Luxembourg data-protection law.
The rules (Policy §5)
Always
- Get informed consent before photographing anyone, and explain where the image may appear.
- For a child, consent comes from a parent or guardian; the child’s own agreement is sought too.
- Show dignity and agency — strength, not only suffering. Caption truthfully; never stage.
- Store images securely; keep the signed consent with the image.
Never
- Publish an identifiable child without guardian consent.
- Use imagery that exposes someone to reprisal, trafficking, stigma or location.
- Use close-ups of distress for shock value, or imagery that dehumanises.
- Reuse an image for a purpose the person did not agree to.
Children & vulnerable persons (Policy §7)
- Never publish a child’s full name with an identifiable image without guardian consent.
- Avoid any detail (school, address, location) that could identify where a child can be found.
- When in doubt, do not publish — ask the Direction.
Third parties & copyright (Policy §9)
- When a photographer or partner supplies images, agree in writing that LUkraine may use them, and for which purposes.
- Credit authors where required; never remove a copyright notice or watermark without permission.
Full policy: Image Rights & Safeguarding Policy (v0.1) — compulsory reading for newcomers; sign and return to the Direction.
Legal & the RCS obligation
Every document and communication carries this line:
LUkraine asbl · RCS F9931 · 33, Bvd Prince Henri, L-1724 Luxembourg · www.LUkraine.org
This is a legal obligation under Article 20(1) of the Luxembourg Law of 7 August 2023 on non-profit associations and foundations: all acts, invoices, announcements, publications and other documents of the association must carry its name, the words “association sans but lucratif” (a.s.b.l.), the exact address of its seat, and “R.C.S. Luxembourg” followed by the registration number.
Naming
- Always LUkraine.org (LU capitalised). Despite ukrainians.lu still working, we need to unify our image: we do not use ukrainians.lu anymore — it will not be available soon.
- Write LUkraine — never “Lukraine” — in any signed or external text.
- Contact: Contact@LUkraine.org · +352 621 294 050.
