Press conference: Launch of the Advocacy Coalition – Defending Our Future Now

LUkraine asbl, together with an alliance of nine partner Embassies resident in Luxembourg — the Embassies of Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, and the United Kingdom — and with the support of the European Commission in Luxembourg and the Embassy of Ukraine in Belgium and Luxembourg, officially announces the launch of the Advocacy Coalition – Defending Our Future Now.

This year-long initiative is not charity — it is a strategic investment in European security.

Throughout 2026, the Coalition will host a series of monthly events addressing key themes such as countering disinformation and hybrid threats, strengthening resilience, supporting Ukraine’s reconstruction, and amplifying the role of Ukrainian communities in Europe.

As part of the initiative, the Embassy of the Czech Republic will co-host the year-long exhibition “How to Destroy a Country.” The exhibition reveals the systematic tactics used to undermine sovereignty — from child abduction and identity erasure to disinformation and institutional manipulation. It serves as both a warning and a call to action.

At the heart of the project is also the Advocacy Platform — a digital space amplifying authentic voices and testimonies that explain why supporting Ukraine matters.

This is a coordinated effort to safeguard democratic values in Europe.

We invite institutions, media representatives, community leaders, and citizens to engage with the initiative, participate in its events, and contribute to strengthening peace, accountability, and resilience across Europe.
