Ukraine’s 35th anniversary of independence brought people together in Luxembourg on 22 August. Cars carrying Ukrainian flags formed the Independence Auto Rally, followed by a community gathering. It was a visible expression of solidarity, shared by Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine.
Thank you to everyone who took part, helped organise the day and contributed a donation. The rally also supported a collection for Starlink communication units for Ukrainian defenders. We are grateful for every contribution made during the event.
Independence is something we celebrate together and support through practical work. In August, that work continued through medical evacuations, hospital support and deliveries to Ukraine. The rally brought the community behind those efforts into the streets of Luxembourg.
