Why does tension show up in one child’s body and not in another’s? How are physical symptoms connected to attachment and to the atmosphere at home? On 29 August at 12:00, psychoanalyst Yana Pereverzieva gives a free online webinar on child psychosomatics: symptom, attachment and the family system.
The session covers how a psychosomatic symptom forms in a child, how it differs from an adult one, the role it plays inside the family system, and why it matters to understand the cause rather than only fight the effect.
The webinar lasts about 1 hour 20 minutes and takes place online. Participants can submit their questions about symptoms or attachment when they register, and the speaker will try to address them during the session.
One honest caveat from the organisers: difficult family situations need individual work, not a group format. The webinar gives orientation and a direction to move in — it is not a substitute for therapy.
