DESCRIPTION:As part of the Advocacy Coalition – Defending Our Future Now\, the Embassy of Romania and the Embassy of Poland in Luxembourg\, in cooperation with European partners\, is organizing a high-level conference dedicated to one of the most pressing challenges facing Europe today — disinformation as a tool of hybrid warfare. \nThe event will bring together representatives of European institutions\, academia\, and international experts to explore the impact of disinformation on democratic systems\, as well as practical strategies to counter it. \nKey Topics\n\nDisinformation as a weapon in Russia’s war against Ukraine\nCognitive warfare and election interference in Europe\nStrategic communication and EU-level responses\nLegal and policy tools to counter foreign information manipulation\n\n  \nProgramme Highlights\n  \nThe conference will feature two expert panels: \nPanel 1: Disinformation — Facts and Impact \nFocused on understanding how disinformation operates as part of hybrid warfare and its real consequences for societies and democratic institutions. \nPanel 2: Countering Disinformation \nFocused on solutions\, including EU strategies\, national approaches\, and communication tools to strengthen resilience against manipulation. \n  \nSpeakers\nAmong the speakers are: \n\nH.E.
